If you can wait till tomorrow i'll post the number I was given after initially ringing the freephone number. If you are already on connect then its just a matter of them altering your billing details - there should be no reason for them to disconnect your bb. Did you check the availability checker as I believe this offer is only applicable if your exchange is scheduled for an upgrade to adsl2 by the summer.

      good luck - dave

Update - I phoned Sky - short wait via an offshore call centre then back to central lowlands, I guess, but yes I can go to MID (from connect) BUT I can also go to MAX - but I called after 9pm so I have to call "provisioning" (via 08705 515515 then option 1 option 1 option 3) to get switched tomorrow. Didn't go near getting money back. They said I would loose the internet tonight but that's not happened.......

Just use the free phone number - 0800 051 2595 then select option 1 and then keep selecting the customer service options, that is what I did and got my 17 Connect package down to 5.

      @ dholdi

I think you must have misread what I posted as I didn't actually say that. What I did say is that this site will tell you if you can get this offer not what package you are on or what you are being charged.

This is that link: Sky Broadband

Just put your phone number in there and it will tell you if you are eligiable for the 5 Connect offer. If you are then you can use the free phone number as I posted above.

Why are people still using those number when they are costing you something like 10p a minute. This is the free number and gets you through to the same people:

      0800 051 2595

login at sky.com then click the "Sky Shop" tab and your current package will be listed in the right hand box

Also if you ring the 0800 number to go from 17 connect to 5 they will give you this number 08702 404 007

This number is shown on the page after you do the phone number check to see if the 5 Connect is available (Sky Broadband) on the right hand side where it says "Surf, Speak, See for 26"

"Sky Broadband connect for 5 a month offer is only available by calling -
      Joining Sky: 08702 405157
      Already a Sky Customer: 08702 404 007
      "
