I beleive he does own MySpace. But Murdoch also owns other wannabe MySpaces's, for example, mykindaplace.com, livingit.com and monkeyslum.com (might be wrong about the last one). I don't understand why BSkyB recently acquired these - as they are a fraction of the popularity of MySpace.
Murdoch bought Myspace a while ago. The only reason i can think of for the other wannabe sites, is to ensure they dominate that part of the internet market.

Hopefully the partnership with google will lead to a new portal site that actually works. I doubt Murdoch would buy google, not at the moment anyway. Share prices are sky high for google or they were the last time i looked.

They may not be great at communicating with their customers, but they certainly arent the worse....... now Orange Mobile Customer Service are baaaaadddd.

I've been with Sky for about 15 years and whilst I've had my problems, they have always come good.

Well Sky do seem to be building up a huge empire and it looks like it's going to benefit us subscribers a considerable amount.

Lets just hope that we don't have to pay to much extra for it all, although sooner or later prices will go up as I can't imagine that Sky will give away to many of these extra service for nothing.

They will probably make enough of the adverts, to not charge... hopefully

I can confirm that Sky.com has been set-up under Google Apps for Your Domain (the login screen is there), but so far, I've not been able to login to my account. It's only a matter of time I'm sure.
