As far as I've been able to work out, the only thing that's free (assuming you subscribe to Sky Sports) are sports "highlights" - not much use if you happen to have no interest in sport!! (My OH does, but he's glued to Sky Sports News anyway )

So what happened to the Movies? Do you have to pay for those now?

      Thats strange,
You could get free Movies & Sports before?

I've just looked at the "Help" section:

Movies - if you subscribe to Sky Movies 1 & 2 most of the movies are free to download, although some are pay per view for 3.95.

Sports - if you subscribe to Sky Sports 1 & 2 it is all free, if you don't you can pay an additional 5 per month to view.

Entertainment - some are buy to keep for 2.50, others are pay per view at 1.50.

These pay per view movie wouldn't be the ones shown on Sky Box Office would they otherwise I can't see any justification for them to charge for some but not for others.

There seems to be a couple of hundred on there, quite a few appear to be free for movies subscribers, plus there are more under the "box office" heading.

      sky anytime upgrade

Has anyone else had problems upgrading to Anytime ?
I can't upgrade , logged in as usual (but first time since upgrading to IE7), it asks me to upgrade my client by clicking on (paste)
      asfunction:_parent.invokeBrowser,http://www1.sky.com/skyanytime/upgrade/click

what's this all about ? anyway, it opens a new browser window and disappears after a few seconds

been in touch with sky technical support and they said "yeh, had a few problems with IE7 try it again tomorrow "

... And the reply came as follows:

"Thank you for your email regarding Sky Anytime.

I can confirm that in order to access the Sky Anytime application you must subscribe to either Sky Sports 1 & 2 or Sky Movies 1 & 2.

As you currently subscribe to the 6 Mix package you are not able to access the program.

I trust that this information assists."

Perhaps I was being dim, but as far as I recall, it only said on the qualifications that I had to be a "Sky Subscriber" and have Sky One.

      Oh well.

I'll just have to catch stargate each week on one of it's 47 repeats instead...
