Sky Broadband Cuts Superfast "Fibre Broadband" FTTC Prices for 18 Months - ISPreview UK
We’ve not seen any special offers from Sky Broadband’s range of superfast “fibre broadband” (FTTC) packages for quite a long time but all of that just changed after they introduced a range of 18 month discounts, which significantly cuts the monthly rental.

As usual each package includes a wireless router (Sky Q Hub on the “Sky Fibre Max” service), Sky Talk / line rental (standard UK call rates), unlimited access to WiFi hotspots from The Cloud, Sky Shield (Parental Controls and Anti-Malware), a 12 month McAfee Internet Security Suite trial and Sky Yahoo Email.

The new offers are broadly aimed at new subscribers, although the small print does appear to suggest that the promotions may also be “available to new and existing Sky Broadband and Talk customers without Fibre.”

      Sky Broadband Unlimited

PRICE: £30 per month for 18 months (£38.99 thereafter)

Refund applies to subscription charges only (not set-up charges or non-inclusive call charges) and is pro-rated. Statutory rights are not affected. Not applicable if you change your package.
      What is that all about?
Surely consumer law would protect you anyway if all went wrong.

Is this with line rental included? otherwise that's pretty expensive if not. (doh insert more coffee)

BT and talktalk's "cooling-off period" will often have expired before you are connected to their service as they take it from the point you order the service. Sky give you 30 days from activation.

These offers have been available for TV customers since the 3rd February and run until 30th March in all cases.
