      Your selection
      Current monthly cost£83.15

      What you've added£95.90
      Minimum 18 month contract
      Sky Q Silver TV£50.50
      Sky Q bundle
      Sky Q Silver bundle
      New total monthly cost £95.90
      Minimum 18 month contract
      One-off cost£149

Really annoyed that it seems you cant take the cheaper Q bundle option and pay extra 1-off to add a mini when I have no interest in UHD and will never need more than 1 mini which the Q box is supposed to be able to support but also it seems I cant even opt for the Q box even without a mini and being forced to take the Silver box
Hearing you have to call sky to get the sky q bundle (non silver) option as a current subscriber.
Is taking the skyq basic box going to work out any cheaper though on the current subscriber deal?

      Re: Sky Q

Well thats the big question, Sky are obviously heavily trying to push the Silver option over the Q option and never like to make things too easy for existing customers aye hence as usual new Q customers get free installation while existing ones upgrading have to pay the £50 even tho we need less installation work doing.
Actually thinking about the streaming to tablets using the SkyQ app do we know if this is actually restricted to tablets only or possible to work on a win10 pc too ?

Anyone managed to order just the new Sky Q broadband hub yet? Not interested in the rest of the Sky Q TV boxes until Sky come up with a way to transfer existing recordings and series links across.

Spoke with Sky earlier and they are not currently making it available without taking the Q TV too.

Ridiculous this, I want to give them money for a new q hub but they don't want it.

Because it's not a guaranteed source of income over a period of time for them? They want you to take the bundle and extend your contract for 18 months.

If they have the hubs available they should sell them. I bet if they sold me one for £60 they would make money. Can't see the manufacturing cost more than that.

I may be wrong but it would appear that Sky are not selling the new hub,
Sky Q boxes, including the remotes supplied with them, and the Sky Q Hub are loaned to you by Sky at no cost and must be returned when the Sky service they are used with ends.
just loaning it the same as the other SkyQ equipment.
