I was under the impression that all the SR102 routers had been upgraded by now, but obviously not.

The update will be automatically delivered to your router via the update system that Sky uses.

I don't have the specific details on how the upgrade on the routers currently works, but it won't bee all of them at once.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

Just called sky, apparently they are sending me a new router with the updated firmware, I was like well don't you have a manual system of updating and they said no *clearly not right* and I mentioned about the automatic update and they said they wouldn't be able to do it.

Re: New IPv6 Trial for Sky Broadband & Sky Fibre

Sky routers are programmed to check a specific site each night or so, passing it's Mac Address in the process.. In doing so when any new firmware is not only available, but specifically available for the router, then it is downloaded and installed.

This way Sky can make a new version available to a small number or large number of routers. This means they can control any potential impact.

So why would they need to send me a new router for the IPv6 firmware? I already have an SR102

Re: New IPv6 Trial for Sky Broadband & Sky Fibre

My SR102 still hasn't updated, every time I've contacted Sky (via Fibre Pro Live Chat) I've been told there is absolutely nothing they can do about it, And I have to wait for it to become a available for manual download (with no idea as to when it will be available).

Does it sound like I'm being fobbed off?
