The legacy variety pack with hd and the family pack. both up £3
Not quite sure what you mean by 'legacy Variety pack' but the Variety, which does not include HD is up by £2. The extra £6 for the Family pack is surely mainly down to the HD price, as that is about all the difference between them. Apart from Box sets, which are advertised as 'free'. Those who have the HD legacy pack, usually have Sports and/or Movies to make it worthwhile.

If you were an hd subscriber in the entertainment/entertainment + pack days, you were merged to variety with hd and have exactly the same as the current family pack (all the family channels/hd/box sets/sky go extra), but your hd gets discounted so you pay the same as a current family subscription.
Its also the one that if people do not take sky sports get the f1 channel.
It lists in your mysky that you have discounted hd to compensate along with all your other discounts like free broadband, discount on sky sports etc

I had the full HD pack, just dumped it in fact, so that didn't effect me. I upgraded to Family to retain the box sets mainly, but it also gives you the packs HD channels.

      Not on mine it doesn't.

      Variety £24.50.
      HD pack £10.25.

Means i'm paying £1.75 more than the identical family bundle, but have the F1 & F1HD channel.

Also, sky go extra is only free with a multiroom subscription.

In my discounts, I have my negotiated large discount listed that runs for 24 months for sky sports (ends in july), but also the total for variety and sky sports package shown before that discount brings it down to that family amount so perhaps it was only sky sports customers or thats what they offered me.
Actually I forgot (although its listed there), when I did began sky go beta testing way back I was given sky go extra as a bonus and its stayed ever since. Well still doing testing so need it, sometimes comes in handy

Re: Sky TV Price rise June 2015

Using the table above, my price change should look like this:

      Scubbie (shoud be) £66.00 £3.50 £69.50 5.30%

A quick check shows that I'm actually paying 50p less on the Variety pack. At this time I have no idea if this will be carried over. I haven't heard otherwise at this time, so hopefully I'll just be £69. That would be a 5.34% increase.

If it isn't carried over, then I face the following price change:

      Scubbie (worse case) £65.50 £4.00 £69.50 6.11%

Obviously this isn't nice to see but I'll have to wait for the letters to be sent out.

Apparently MySky future billing is now showing the actual price change you are getting from today onwards. Lots of people commenting on DSForums.

Yes and as others are saying, the letters are offering £10 a month loyalty bonus for next year.

Second over inflated increase in less than 12 months, I for one will now be looking elsewhere, it's not as if there is not plenty of other net based options to choose from these days!

At what point does it reach where you cut back on your package with more price rises occurring in the coming years and you end up paying the same as you did when you had the full works package… and now you have the bare minimum? Or cancelled altogether.

The worst part is how abysmal the picture quality is for the majority of the Movie channels for a price rise.
