Makes perfect sense to me dog-man.

Wordsmiths out there would choose a different way of putting it, but it's 100% coherent to me.

Well any price rises normally get applied from 1st September and the retentions departments normally have a freeze on many of the special deals, so you've plenty of time to decide.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

      You've been offered 1%?

I've been offered 0% for the 3rd year in a row!

Strangely, they offered the Vice Chancellor (I work at a uni) over 30% and strangely, she accepted it.

Re: Sky Broadband UK Warns of Forthcoming TV Bundle Price Hike

Just got the obligatory BS letter today that explains why my Sky is such good value. Mines going up by 1.25 a month. This is a day after seeing yet another huge sign board with their latest of many discount offers for new customers. Feels great to be subsidising that.

Re: Sky Broadband UK Warns of Forthcoming TV Bundle Price Hike

New bundle prices for September announced then

      Original Bundle 21.50
      Variety Bundle 28
      Family Bundle 33
      Movies 16.50
      Sports 24.50

      Variety up 1
      Family up 1
      Sky Sports up 2.50
      Sky Movies up 0.50

Must admit the sky sports one was a bit of a shocker, so we get our broadband now free, so 7.50 off and now claw back 1 and 2.50.
So still 4 less I suppose for me and with my current sky sports discount I got last year for 24 months and Im still with this increase paying less than I did in 2009 for same package, so sort of happy.
But Im sure many will not be happy.

Re: Sky Broadband UK Warns of Forthcoming TV Bundle Price Hike

      Hello All
So once again the ' Great Sky Accountant' has decided that the 'Good Old Customer' is good
for screwing another few quid from, at least I suppose I should be grateful as my increase
around 1.00 ,I was toying with upgrading to Sky Sports for the F1 but changed my mind :
I expect Sky will lose a few clients but that will not worry them as long as they get a stream
of New Customers on 'Special Deals'
Nothing for Long Term Customers again as usual !!
Just left a friends house who rang Sky : Answer if You Want to Leave Bye Bye !!...........

      Just a Thought.................
