I wonder what resolutions they're talking about here, if that means it will look better than it currently does on windows using silverlight, and if an android emulator would gain us access to it.

Is there any way of measuring the resolution when using Silverlight?

Sky won't ever change that despite their content contracts almost certainly not requiring it (After all every other streaming service is limited by concurrent users rather than registered devices. Even NowTV is setup like that). The problem with Sky is they could easierly be a real leader but they are too concerned with crippling their equipment/service so as to control customers. The Sky Box and software should be much better than it is, the Sky Router should be better and more open, Sky Go should be much better than it is and NowTV and the NowTV box should be better than it is.

You just have to look at how all those services in the States (and even some cases in the UK) have been able to do much better in these areas leaving Sky a few years behind
