      As a fellow Samsung owner, I'm currently (im)patiently waiting on this too.
      To be fair, there are a few issues with the upgrades for the Samsungs etc - A few people on the Beta testing feel that Sky were not listening to them, as they reported the very same issues that normal users are getting. I would rather wait for it then have the broken EPG problems, that way you would enjoy it more.

      Yes, I would agree with that. Although, I still feel its unfair rolling something like that out to some customers, but not others.

I would not be surprised if the general release and its inclusion on the download stream was made within the next week.
      What types of bugs with the EPG for Amstrad 780?

      From what I have seen on the various forums, mainly sound problems with jerky pictures thrown in.

      My Samsung box updated with the new EPG during the night. Must say that I am very pleased with it so far. Does not seem {fingers crossed!} to have any of the bugs that some people have been reporting re the new version on some of the other Boxes.

      The Hour is missing from the iPlayer. They've been unusually late in loading on that one.

      Well spotted. I have raised this in the EPG beta group.

      Perhaps we should have a vote to see who the next senior member of the BBC to be sacked/paid off will be?

      Will the person reporting dodgy practice in management now be known as an Entwhistle Blower?

      Not sure, but at the BBC's current rate of replacing the top boss, I think it won't be long before Pudsy becomes the Director General.

      I'm always surprised at Chris Pattern still being used for different high profile jobs too. Didn't all the University Students legitimately vote him out of his Bath seat?

      Two small points - cos I know you like accuracy ;-}
      I've seen various spellings - but I think the right one is Chris Patten
      Probably at his age it should be bath chair don't you think?

      Oh and incidentally - while I am being picky I need to correct my own post to 'Entwistle' - Just got in before you !!!
