      Sky Line Rental Increases For Existing Customers From December?

      Unofficial

      Apparently, Sky Line Rental for exisiting customers is to be increased to 14.50 per month, as from December 2012

      A quick perusal over the Sky website shows nothing mentioned, to the best of our knowledge, although 2 different sources have said it is true and that they have seen an internal briefing, confirming this.

      We have asked for any such information from Sky and we will post, as and when we hear any news.

      I'm not up-to-date with recent/forthcoming BT/Talk Talk etc price changes but presumably this is increasing the price pretty much in line with all the other line rental providers then?

      Re: Sky Line Rental Increases For Existing Customers From December?

      Received this today;
      Thanks for your enquiry regarding the line rental. We do have an offer that allows you to make a single up front payment to cover your years line rental. The amount is 119.40 for 12 months line rental. This works out at 9.95 per month with a saving of 2.30 per month. As our line rental is due to increase in December to 14.50 this would then save you 4.55 a month so you would save a lot of money.
      If you wish to take up this offer we cannot process card payments over the email so would advise you call 08432 16 17 18 and ask to speak to the Talk Billing Experts.
      Kind regards
      Aimee

      Same here.

      Naturally assumed it would be 1/9/13 though.

      Atleast they're not taking away existing customers' free weekday evenings aswell.

      Or are they?
      That would effectively mean an extra 5 on top of the line rental for most people.
