      Did you use this number?

If you wish to take up this offer we cannot process card payments over the email so would advise you call 08432 16 17 18 and ask to speak to the Talk Billing Experts.
Would be nice to find out I guess once and for all. Loads of people have reported that they have over the last few months. Not all of them are new customers that I am aware of etc

I spoke on live chat and was told no, called and was told that it was possible. She took my card details and said it would appear on my next bill, later this month, for the 2nd November payment date.

Cool as, looks like some people at Sky do not know what Sky offer etc

I wonder if the price for the annual will increase, as if people can afford to pay annually, they are saving a fair bit in reality.

The only way to make the upfront payment is by contacting us directly. You cannot do this online but I have provided the link with the telephone number to contact us
      Call a Sky agent on 08442 411 653
Calls to 08442 numbers are free for Sky Talk customers.
BT customers pay 5.1p/min and 12.5p connection.
Customers in the Republic of Ireland should call 0818 719 819

Hmmm, how much is a yearly sub for the phone with unlimited calls?

Unlimited calls (Talk Anytime) is 5 per month, so my reckoning is 119.40 (12 months upfront) + 60 = 179.40 ?

Ugh. This thread (Sky Help Forum - Sky Talk Up Front Line Rental - Help & Support from the Official Sky Forum) has Sky advisors saying the pay up-front offer is not available... Yet, they just sold me it on the phone... I hope my next bill does show it I asked on twitter too, and they say it isn't available too... https://twitter.com/SkyHelpTeam/stat...13374205870081

I don't think they allow pay upfront for Talk Unlimited/Anytime - only for the line rental.

It would appear that Sky won't let you pay upfront for the line rental either now.

Hmm, it might just be internal confusion at Sky! But if it isn't then it's putting them out of line with their biggest competitors (i.e. BT, TalkTalk - not sure about VM) who still allow 12 months LR to be pre-paid as far as I know.
