I have multiroom with 1 x 1TB, and my 2nd box is an old Thomson so I'm still on the old EPG, they should let us upgrade those at a reduced price, just wish it would get a fault so that I can get it upgraded through the repair system

Pour a bottle of coke through the vents and it will need a repair, just make sure you disconnect the power source first.

My box has never been right, always going out of sync on HD recordings and the daily freeze up plus the new anytime epg keeps disapearing, but i just cant be arsed to phone and get them to go through the usual turn off, reset, reinstall etc that i have already tried a dozen times i just don't fancy wasting 4 hours of my life for them to tell me yes there is something wrong lol.

Is this on the download stream then and available to anyone (with the right box) via a forced update?

Re: Let The New EPG Rollout Begin

      Hi Gavin20,

I would suggest that you perform a forced update to get you to 49.22 as a minimum.

To do this, place the STB in Standby (orange LED) and wait a few seconds. Then switch off the electric to it.

Now press and hold the 'Back up' button on the top of the STB and switch on the electric to it whilst holding the button.

Wait until the blue LEDs on the front panel start illuminating and the display on the TV confirms that the update process is happening.

When I helped a friend recently, I had to connect her new STB to the telephone line before it would start the update process.
