Any other Pace uses finding the PQ has deteriorated?

Since the new EPG has appeared on my Pace box I've been plagued with sound drop-outs. It's driving me mad !

      How is you sound connected?

i.e. via the HDMI lead through your TV, the Optical lead via a sound system or the coax sound lead?

If it is with either the optical or coax sound, how is it hocked up? i.e. sound to sound system, HDMI to TV or perhaps both optical & HDMI to sound system

Also are the drop outs during the programme/film or after the ad breaks? Are they limited to any particular channels or present on all?

It's connected via an optical cable to a Yamaha cinema amp. I used to get a few dropouts before, but not on this scale. Strangely, the dropouts seem to get less, the longer that I watch a channel. It's affecting most channels, both HD and SD. The dropouts seem to occur at any time - during programmes and ad breaks. My TV also has a satellite input, fed from the same dish, and there's no problem with the sound on that.
