Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
Update: We may possibly, have been misinformed re the imminent bit. A couple of PMs have sort of hinted that it will be October. Also later this year, Anytime and Anytime+ will be rebranded as On Demand. We will just have to wait and see. Either way it does look very interesting, and I am sure, will be welcomed by all people who eventually receive it.
We believe that Sky's Catch Up is about to be released to compatible STBs imminently. (With hopefully a couple of other features)
Here's the piccies. For absolute clarity, these images did not come from any Beta Tester.

With thanks to the person who emailed them to us, obviously we cannot name, but you know who you are.Last edited by NewsreadeR; 28-08-12 at 04:32 PM.

Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
It's over the air as per usual.
What has not been mentioned is;
If all makes / models will get it
The definite date. It was relayed to us, as if people should expect to see it within a very short time span.
Also, this is so far, only a very strong rumour and it may not happen imminently.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
All STB updates are over the air. However the Catchup TV will require your Sky+ HD STB to be connected to the Internet as this is how it will download the content.
If your STB isn't connected, then consider doing it ASAP.
The most popular options are:
- Cat 5e Ethernet cable
- Pair of HomePlugs/PowerLine adaptors
- WiFi Media Bridge
Ethernet cable costs around 50p per metre. HomePlugs cost from around £30.
Sky's WiFi Media Bridge is around £60. Cheaper ones are available. The one below is a popular recommendation on this forum:
Letpower VONETS VAP11G WIFI BRIDGE FOR SKY Anytime Xbox: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
Thanks for the heads up. I used to have my box connected in my old house but the router is now the otherside of the living room. Today I went on a spending spree and have ordered a switch, patch and a long ethernet lead so I can get the PS3 and the Sky box hooked up. Bon... can't wait for this
