I think that will depend on what they include in it. As there will be access to the terrestrial broadcasters on their own iPlayers, I doubt if Sky will waste bandwidth by including any of their offerings. That will not leave much if you don't have a Sky sub. I don't think there is anyway Sky will make their content free to non-subscribers, if they did, there would not be much point in paying for Sky TV. So, it will probably be available, but without a subscription you are not going to have access to much. You will probably get the same notice you do if you try to watch something on Anytime which you don't subscribe to. "You must upgrade to view this content, phone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx."

Is there an easy way to filter HD content on anytime? I don't use it much as I'm not interested in SD viewing and HD seems to be a pain to find. (I may be missing the obvious though.)

Not sure what you are asking. On my Anytime(Showcase) all the programs are HD* except one kids program and a couple of Bio documentaries. If you mean Anytime+ scroll to All and the HD programs are shown in Orange. You may have to set this in your settings though. If you do, Settings button, down then press 8(Customize), scroll down to item.

      * I have read that if you do not have HD these are also available in SD, I don't know if this is true.

I think they would like an option in the Anytime+ programme lists to show only HD programming, rather Han having to go through the lists to find it.

      Thanks for the info Isitme.

It was more a query on whether bbc iplayer, itv player, etc would be free for non subscribers, as im thinking about dropping skytv and going freeview, and it would have saved me buying another box.

Do remember that unless you pay the monthly 'Sky+' subscription to allow your STB to record (I think it is currently 15) you won't be able to take advantage of any recordings on your STB.

Personally I would recommend something like the D-Link Boxee if you are looking to take advantage of on-line streaming. If you want to record the Freesat content, then get yourself a Freesat+ STB. The Humax is the most popular, but had an issue with the Olympics initially.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon

There does appear to be a delay now on when the Catch-up TV service will be fully launched.

When we are able to let you know more we will do.
