Which version of the EPG do you currently have? Perhaps someone could see if it is present on their system too?

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon

So I knew this update started this week but had been working so hadn't had an auto update yet so I did a forced software download this morning and 'Hey Presto!' I have the un-delete option and the Catch-up option on both my DRX890's .

I got them both in December.
      Version number 4f31d4 on both.
      old software version number: R004.049.21.00P
      new software version number: R005.053.70.05P

Also I notice the Manufacturer name has changed from Amstrad on the old software to Sky on the new.

This is to help the staff in the call centres to differentiate between the DRX780 (which should continue to report 'Amstrad') and the DRX890/DRX895.

Subtitles are fine on my box on BBC1 HD. Could it be a digital audio sound delay is switched on?

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon

Can some kind soul remind me how to do a forced download? And will it mean any losses in my planner?

My Guide screen currently has a Showcase and an On Demand tab. Does that mean it is already up-to-date ?

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon

I can't get mine to force update. I recently pm'd scubbie as I wasn't sure if being connected to the phoneline was mandatory for the update to complete. (bought an extension today) My box is a DRX890-C on software R004.049.21.00P vers: 4f310a. Shall I just wait it out or have all the download streams activated? Thanks.

Some people have reported it has worked on the second forced update.
