Update: Everything you need to know about the Sky Hub SR101

We have hinted for a very long time that the new Sky router was on its way out to the masses (well at least new customers)

Is This The New Sky Wireless N Router / Hub?

As this was being privately Beta Tested we respected that and refrained from publishing any pictures of it etc

Tonight, we have had a new member who has received one of the new SR101 Router / Hubs ahead of the rumoured September 2012 release.

Have sky conned me with my router

Obviously if you have already seen it, or are on the Beta testing for this router, then it will be old news.

That is a nice hub, is it available from sky now and can you buy it from sky ?

No idea, I was not part of the Beta testing for it.

We had heard it was due out in September, but obviously someone has it already, sent directly from Sky, as a new customer.

I do know the specs etc - but we are still unsure as to give any more info out. May just wait for the people who receive them to post more info.

The router isn't 100% ready for launch at the moment. There are some firmware issues to resolve first.

It is my understanding that Sky will like to make a big thing of the launch when it is ready.

I'm waiting to hear from someone at Sky. I doubt if they will respond until the morning, but I suspect that either someone isn't giving us the full story or someone in sales or dispatch has messed up.

any idea of the specs I see it has wps the same as the sagemcom 2504n would be nice if it had gigabit lans and 300mps wifi even qos for a lasting touch hehe but I cant see that

I would rather not post this information for the present time.

The product is apparently to be launched in a couple of months and won't be available before then, so there isn't much need for this information at present.

We don't have any idea on the prices or upgrade path either at this time.
