Surprised you haven't asked if you can get 3D on the new hub seeing as you tried watching 3D on your standard TV? My comment "this message will self destruct" was a reference to spies like another post.Keep up Deadman it was a bit of banter

300Mbit/s requires a 40mhz channel width and unless you live in the middle of nowhere or have very thick walls it's usually a complete waste of time in home environments unless running on 5ghz as on 2.4 there is usually to much interference for you to benefit.

      Edit:

Also does this new router support IPv6 and if not why not, would be rather stupid to release a new router these days without proper IPv6 support (Although plenty of router manufactures appear to be doing so!)

Sky will roll out suitable firmware for all their routers when it is ready to make the switch to IPv6.

Currently there is no information available about when or how it will be rolled out or how changes will affect us all. There will be a huge raft of questions when it is made available but at present these can't be addressed. It has been asked through the private beta forum.

      Re: Sky's New Router / HUB SR101

With one important aspect of this router out of the bag now, I guess it is safe to confirm that the Sky Hub doesn't utilise the 5GHz channels.

      http://certifications.wi-fi.org/pdf_...p?cid=WFA15249

There are some other aspects though which do improve the WiFi performance compared to the Sagem 2504N. More information on this will be made available when it is launched.
