British Sky Broadcasting Group plc will be announcing Preliminary Results for the twelve months ended 30 June 2012 via RNS, at 7.00 a.m. (BST) on Thursday 26 July 2012.

There will be a presentation for analysts and investors at 8.45 a.m. (BST) at Allen & Overy LLP, One Bishops Square, London, E1 6AD. I know there are a few things in the pipeline, but hush hush at the moment.

I cannot see them taking this opportunity to announce the new hub (SR101) which we have been chatting about for yonks.

Usual stuff, probably.

Revenue Up.
Profits Up.
Customer numbers up a little.
HD Up.
Triple Play Up.

Sports being squeezed in 4th quarter but as usual at this time of year.
Churn steady or reduced but expected to be higher for next few months due to price increase.

Ignoring the financial aspects, the technology highlights appear to include:
- Sky Broadband and Sky Talk come to Ireland
- Sky and TalkTalk reach agreement for wholesale distribution of Sky channels on YouView
- add Kids' channels to Sky Go
- Demand 5 also to launch on Sky's catch-up service in the autumn
