More than happy with my 42" G20 Panasonic Viera. Had it just over a year and it is a fantastic screen.

Next screen will be 50-55" range now it's on the wall (Used to be in the corner of the room, and having such a big screen just eats up a massive corner!

Your not going to want to see him in 4k HD on an 85" screen if he is still around by then!

I associate the word 'Pro' with 'Professional' and by definition that indicates people who are paid to perform a service.

I do think that the price is a little steep though. 30 a month sounds good compared to 20 for a 40/2 product, but more people will not reach the full 80/20 connection speeds by comparison. Also BT Infinity is available for 26 per month.
Ahem.. cough. cough - some of us poor benighted souls have signed up to another 18 months of BT - only a little speed increase though ;-))

      Cheers

I am sure that you are enjoying your service with them.

Sadly I still don't have access to any Fibre based product so will have to wait a little longer.

Perhaps by the time it is available Sky will have launched a FTTP-on-demand product and I can opt for that instead .

I have the router, so I guess that I'd better start saving up for a new super-duper PC that can make the most of the connection too.

You can notice the difference if what you are watching is not upscaled and recorded in HD to start with. I think alot of your tv viewing pleasure is to do with how your room and TV is set up and where you sit. Most homes will find it hard to fit a 65" Tv in their living rooms.

lol, my virgin media 60/6 is only cost me 22 a month with discount loyalty until 2013 for broadband stand alone

sky fibro pro 80/20 is not bad 30 a month consider the biggest upload speed is a bonus! Sky Fibre not available in my area, this is why I went for virgin media fibre but their upload is rather poor indeed.

re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro about to be launched?

I would just like to correct the name of the product, afaik it is now being known as Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro and not Sky Broadband Unlimited Fibre Pro as we originally thought it was

It looks like they have renamed Sky Broadband Unlimited Fibre (aka SBUF) to Sky Fibre Unlimited too.

Nice to see if finally advertised on their web site though.

re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro about to be launched?

I have changed the name to Sky Fibre Unlimited on the Speedtester, and I have also added the Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro package to it as well.
