      I doubt if many would pay 80 for a locked down router, apart from that they have to give it away free to new users. I would imagine they are looking at something they can produce for 20 and sell for 40.

      If it doesn't have this, there is something wrong.
      My money is on it being exactly the same router as the 2504n but with a slightly different interface and a different outer shell.

      hum possible it would be nice for a wan port for future changes also would be a nice touch with gigabit ports to and qos

      still cant understand why sky have to lock it down forcing people to use there supplied routers

      It's a lot easier to troubleshoot problems with a small number of devices. The agents don't have to learn lots of different menu systems, Sky don't have to write lots of scripts.
