      It was Red who took up the point last time. I thought he should have the privilege of resolving it, although i could have done so myself.

      To be clear there is plenty of evidence to suggest that sky are close to launching a Fttc product. There are at least three different elements of proof in this thread that I can think of including me personally being selected to take part in sky's market research on the new pricing structure for their product.

      It's coming guys so keep the discussion going. Sky do read forums and they may well take on board the views that they read.

      well lets hope they do red i certainly cant wait i mean that in a good way. what ever its priced at weather its 15 a month or 20 a month as long as it has unlimited downloads I am happy. here is something I wanted to know bt upgraded my master socket ages ago it has two connections a telephone and a mini Ethernet type would this be changed again for fttc

      Yes, fibre requires a VDSL socket to be fitted. The standard NTE5 filtered socket is not compliant.
