Doesn't everything worth having? I very much doubt if Kona is considering moving to Total Broadband.

i checked on bts site and only bt total broadband is available to me plus when i was with them they were capping it the speed sucked also. what id like is for sky to give me fibre for 10 pound a month that would be awsome and it would undercut bt heheeh

If Sky do it you will be sucked in to an 18 month contract, its a BTO that have made the contract length 18 months not the ISPs.

I am not sure you need a MAC when moving to Infinity, as you are going to be using a completely different line to the exchange. Have they asked for one?

Yeah they said i needed one but i argued what you have said mate, i cant see why on earth one is needed with it being a different line (up the last few meters at any rate) and even a different technology.

In all fairness Sky were spot on about it and just said here you go so its no biggy even if its not needed i guess.

Have you thought it might be correct but the ISPs have taken the hit or hiked the price somewhere else? With ADSL24 its 50.90 a month with a 90GB cap plus a set up fee of 49 quid, Plusnet with a 120GB cap and an 18 month contract is 21 plus set up fee
