Would like to think that Sky would announce their plans sooner rather than later, with exchanges coming live every month if they take too long there is a potential that they could loose a lot of customers,

Recent figures showed a small drop in LLU connections for the first time.

Most likely due to people getting onboard with fibre products.

Although we still have 4 years to go with the initial planned roll out so as far as the ISP's are concerned BT is still ramping up the installations and there is plenty of time to jump aboard.

Well I will be cancelling my SKY broadband in the next few days and signing up with BT.

I've had enough waiting on SKY and with only 2mb in my area (due to distance from exchange) I've had enough of this slow connection.

      Great job SKY.

I hope you mean BT Infinity, you will not be any better off with BT ADSL.

Yeah and what about us? Heck we can't even get proper 8 meg anymore because these companies now offer higher packages and place higher priority on them. Not very fair at all.

Don't mention cancelling ask for a MAC code.

If you say anything about cancelling there may be a chance you get disconnected and have a whole load of trouble.

The Internet is a funny thing though. I left BT to go with Tiscali, similar package, same restrictions etc, and yet BT was much faster. So you really can't tell for sure until you've signed up with them.
