With the speed you have you would see little difference, unless there are 3 or 4 online at the same time. I bet your existing connection very seldom maxxes out.

I've registered, would dearly love faster broadband but I'll not be holding my breath...

For everyone getting fibre remember there is no 10 day training period no matter what cobblers the ISPs tell you.

Indeed, for everyday surfing i noticed very little if any difference between 6Mbit and 38Mbit. The main difference is when people are uploading to Flickr and YouTube it doesnt effect online gaming like it used to, COD used to be unplayable where as now you cant tell. Well you can tell but thats nothing to do with people in the house uploading and everything to do with fast pings and getting made host all the time and the Lag Compensation making you the worst player in the game.

If you have any information on BTO's (since it is BTO doing the DLM at present), could you post it in the Fibre section of the forum please?

Maybe if you get your noise margin back up to 7 db or higher, it may improve your ping.

Reboooting your router now should resync it at 7db. Switch off the power for a minute then on again.
