The biggest difference for me was the incredible reliability and the upload speed simply because thats the slowest bit, thats actualy the bit that holds you back.

Anyway why the sudden change of heart? When everyone was getting it on other ISPs wernt you the one dismissing it ROFL.
the only time I was annoyed with my isp was when I was with bt broadband 8mb and my mother paying 25 quid a month joke. the speed was capped like hell my downloads would only go 50 or 80kps

I've heard that Sky are updating some essential software. Hopefully it will lead to a more reliable service for the staff in the call centres.

We're currently updating our systems - while we are doing this orders are not available online or over the phone.

You can still choose your products and email your basket to complete your order when normal service is resumed on Friday.

A Fibre option by the weekend?
Nothing exciting I'm afraid, systems are down this week for an upgrade.

Yeah me too, they are doing my cab today I can see them from my bathroom window.
I'm a little bit excited as this cab is 30m from my house as the crow fles, probably a bit less.

Are Openreach ahead of schedule or something ? My exchange 'Costessey' has a RFS date of 01/06/12 on Samknows, and the Openreach checker says 'Coming Soon Forecast date June 2012'

On Sam Knows, it says my exchange as FTTC RFS 01/03/12 but no date for 21 WBC will this effect anything?

These are two different technologies. 21CN affects BTW ADSL Broadband and telephone packages.

Since you are already on Sky Unlimited, I would hazard a guess that you'll be able to get Sky Broadband Unlimited Fibre once it is launched.

I believe that FTTC/P relies on an exchange being 21CN WBC enabled; but if a the enabled exchange isn't, it implies that the cabs are served off another exchange. This is like my area: three exchanges are FTTC enabled, but the cabs are all linked back to one 'main' WBC enabled exchange.

LOL, I don't care where my fibre goes as long as it can be ordered and switched on with Sky's roll out.

I have even been nice today and made the open reach guys fitting the cabinet cups of tea... might make sure they do it right
