      No sky connect there?
You should look into this, if you have Sky Talk and TV you should only be paying 7.50. Are they holding you to that price till you take a contract?

Then perhaps the 'Tech Manager' needs to be told that they are called Routers not Modems

of course he did confirm you will need skybb, sky HD and sky phone and in a sky network area !
Wrong again as you do not need to have a Sky Phone otherwise known as Sky Talk as clearly stated here:

Sky Anytime+ - TV on demand from Sky Register for the latest news updates now

"To access Sky Anytime+, you'll need a Sky+HD box and a Sky Broadband subscription in a Sky network area." - No mention of a Sky Talk subscription there.

This is not any rumours i found over the internet everything posted was from the SKY TECH MANAGER who knows what is going on !
Doesn't sound like it to me.

Re: Sky VOD Final Trials Soon

Can anyone tell me what being in a Sky network area means. I have no idea they don't explain it on that site.I have ask on twitter and facebook but can't get a clear answer what this means.

      Skytv yes
      Sky+HD Amstrad T1 Yes
      Sky Broadband Unlimited Yes
Sky network area I have no idea

How do I get Sky Anytime+?
Sky Anytime+ is available at no extra cost to your existing Sky TV subscription. To access Sky Anytime+, you'll need a Sky+HD box and a Sky Broadband subscription in a Sky network area. Then, simply connect your box and router together by choosing the connectivity option that best suits you (set-up fees may apply). For the latest news, register here.

It simply means that you must be on either Sky Everday Lite or Unlimited as your exchange will be unbundled if you are on either of those products. If you are on Sky Connect then you will not be able to get this for now.

      Ok Thanks.

Just found out something new if you have two hd subs make sure that your newer sky hd box is the master account.

I have a old thomson HD box this was setup as master account. So I had to call skys tech department to get my Amstrad T1 box setup as my master account.

Re: Sky VOD Final Trials Soon

What "Sky Network Area" means is they have installed their own equipment in BT exchanges, this is called LLU (Local Loop Unbundling).
If you goto this site SamKnows - Telephone Exchange Search and put in your postcode, it will give you the status of your exchange and tell you which LLU companies have their own equipment at your exchange. It will also tell you if any of the ISP's are planning on LLU your exchange within the next few months.

Currently sky have installed their equipment in around 1190 exchanges. You can view the list of those SamKnows - O2 / Be Unlimited LLU If you are served by one of the exchanges.

      http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...hybrid&h=20bf0

Initially Sky Anytime+ will only be available to subscribers in a Sky Network area, that is to say those customers who receive their broadband directly from BSkyB itself, as opposed to Sky Broadband Connect (which runs over the BT network) or from a third party provider.

I find this a bit confusing. If you have a 1Tb box and a smaller one, the 1Tb will receive the upgrade. The smaller one will have to wait its turn. Did you find this out on Twitter?
