      A very small percentage of the Mid package users were using well over 100 gig per month.
      Unofficially of course, I have been told that the reason for Connect and it's poor traffic management performance could be blamed on a small minority using Connect, doing exactly the same.

      What Sky should do if this is the case, is terminate their accounts, after all they agreed to the limits when they signed up, and not penalise everyone else, who is using it as per T and C's.

      Again with Mid, if they were abusing the downloads, Sky should have policed that as well, and not spoilt a great product for everyone else.

      It would have been too sensible to terminate their accounts. Easier to penalise those sticking to the rules.

      Hi,

      Has anyone magaed to upgrade their broadband using the link via quidco?
      I have tried several times and everytime I tried I got to the end of the process only for the final page to say 'sorry this service is currently unavailable.' I've tried on two different pc's with different browsers and browser settings.

      Incicdently i emailed sky and asked them if there was a problem with the site, telling them i wanted to upgrade online to take advantage of the cashback through quidco. I got an email back apologising for the problem and saying that they completed the upgrade for me. I replied asking if I would be able to still claim the cashback through quidco and was told that sky 'have no proffesional relationship with quidco and i'd have to contact them'.

      After checking with quidco I have to wait 60 days to see if the order tracks. As it didn't fully complete online I doubt it will happen.

      Hope this helps anyone else who may ne trying to upgrade online

      O2 have been great. I got a text at the weekend to say they'd connect today. Sky has been quite slow but hadn't cut off completely.

      Already speeds are faster.

      Anyone else thinking of the move, do so now while you can still get 100 via Quidco, and 2 months free from O2.

      I gave o2 my MAC code on Wednesday. The router(wireless box) arrived yesterday morning and i will be connected on the 21st.

      Very impressed so far.
