Well you know that, and we all know that now, but Sky probably don't know!

If you are capped, it's only a little.

You won't get more speed just because it is available, you are already just about getting your limit. You may get a bit more upload speed though.

I don't think there is a way to get out of it, I suspect we will just have to wait and see what happens, every line will handle it differently, as every line has it's own limits.

Is it foolish to assume that those of us currently receiving the credit till 01/01/2010 will be immune till around that date. I guess it will have to happen sooner so we know what we paying for.

Oh for the simpler times and excitement of the initial sign up.

Re: Changes to Sky Broadband from June 22nd 2009

Sorry if I'm missing something, I have a BT line and am on the Mid package.

Other than a possible loss of performance and a huge reduction in my useage allowance, am I being stitched up?

Do I need to take any action to prevent being locked into a situation that'll cost money to get out of?

      Cheers

If you have BT rental, you will not be effected, only those on Sky phone rental could run into problems if they are switched to the Sky network and want to switch ISPs.

I wonder how long will it be though before the rest of the "major" ISPs choose to go down the full LLU route?

Well, what with all the talk of people planning to jump ship asap to O2 and other ISPs who are currently offering good deals today, I thought I would try and provoke some serious discussion and/or ideas about what people think might happen next "slightly further down the road" both with Sky BB and other ISPs!

      No takers yet though...
