Any advice for pre-DLM? Should I reboot router so it won't need rebooting while DLM is being run, and should I avoid downloading a lot of stuff?

Also, we're on Max, but on Mysky and on the "view your bill" it says we're on Mid and paying 5/mo o.o

      Will this matter?

      Pre DLM advice.

      (1) Make sure your internal wiring is up to scratch. This means filter faceplate, router close to master, wired connection to computer.
If you need help Read the cable and faceplate section.

Why would a wired connection to a PC help? =\

^ General question, not being sarcastic. :P

It wont help directly with DLM, but it is part of the package for getting the best throught put your line can support. Have a read of the cable and faceplate section.
The last time DLM was tried by Sky some people had loads of problems due to their internal wiring and it is always worth checking everthing is o.k before you kick off at Sky

Well I've got an ADSL Nation faceplate just plugged directly into the test socket. No extension wires attached to the back of it.

      Is that fine?

Re: Changes to Sky Broadband from June 22nd 2009

Recently I have had a few calls from Sky asking me why, as I had Sky BB and Sky HD, why I had not got Sky Talk or Sky line rental?
I explained to the guy that, while I was very happy with Sky BB, I had no intention of "putting all my eggs in one basket" and wanted to keep my options open should a better LLU operator arrive at my exchange. I had no more calls. Anyone thinking of getting all their services from Sky, or any other operator, think very carefully about the problems you may have if you wish to change ISP

Okay. Well to be honest. I don't think I will see any increase in my Download speed, maybe upload.

Download is always above 15.4 Mbps sometimes gets to 16Mbps
