I think you need to phone Sky and get them to look into it. Provided you are not turning your router off, it should have completed before now. During the trial period some lines were in training for 20 days, but they were the exception.

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

I have just tried plugging directly into the test socket, just in case my wiring was a bit iffy, even though it has been totally renewed and got exactly the same result from there.

So, what the hell could be stopping me easily achieve the full 20mb baring in mind I live in the same road as the exchange about 200mtrs away?

The wiring may be much longer than 200m.

With that attenuation? I don't believe that.

There has to be something wrong somewhere.

      So am i.

I have found out this week that properties 200metres down the road get well over 8mb. My speed is half that but it is about right for my attenuation.

I would love to be able to find out what route my phone line takes from the exchange.

Maybe you should post in the Help section, including your stats from the normal and Test sockets, link below, stating your problem. Don't waste your time contacting Sky till you do.

I agree. I am 0.9km from my exchange, have higher download attenuation, and am still syncing higher than Dog-Man.

Nope have not turned it off once, not for a month. I'm actually not at home right now but have been checking via remote pc and my sky. Very weird. Upload speed doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. Is now 1044kbps. Has changed about 6 times...

Shall wait until i'm home (saturday) and if it's not done then I think there is definitely something wrong lol.
