Without a doubt, out of all those LLU providers, I would go with either O2 oe Be

O2 if you have an O2 mobile would be the better choice

I am one of the few who will certainly gain from the speed increase as I live in the same road as the exchange and am on max, but as soon as O2 have LLU at my exchange, I will be off.

I don't like the way Sky have treated their customers.

Apologies if this has been mention before but 55 pages is a bit much to wade through.

Just wondering what will happen if you are one of the ones which exceed the 10gb limit, it doesn't suit me to go elsewhere as I'm only paying Sky 5 for broadband and don't see why I should upgrade to the 10 per month package.

I am happy with my speed which regularly gets 6-7mb download so an upgrade to 10mb won't help me. I have installed a bandwidth monitor and set it to 10gb and now 15 days into the month I only have 3gb left, I exceed my daily allowance by about 100mb sometimes more and thats just normal use, surfing, emails, youtube, iplayer etc not done any online gaming yet!

daily allowance doesn't apply to LLU - purely Connect...

if your on the MID package in Jan 2010 the price is going up to 10 so if you dont have Sky Talk like i dont you will end up paying 10, so i went to O2 to pay 9.79 a month 14meg down 1.1mb up ..... yesterday was the 1st day so it will settle down but for the same price as the MID package i am getting double down speed and triple up....... happy days

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

If we start up a petition and spread it via Facebook, twitter etc, think it will help? The online scandals have some good rep at spreading fast right now =) Shall we try to give sky some negative press? It's worth more $$ than anything...

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

As per my earlier argument, just this morning I started up Steam to find an update of just under 1Gb for CoD:WaW, nothing unusual, but it dawned on me that it constitutes 10% of my monthly allowance ... gone in one morning.
