you're upstream will be set to 1312 more than likely, doubt you'll see any better unless you go for the top O2 package (2.5Mbps on Annex M)...

Surely sky will have to use Annex M too? Reading the wiki, it says ADSL2+ only supports 1megabit upload.. The maximum stats for new customers i've seen so far is 1megabit up so doesn't look like it's achievable unless they change?

Correct me if i'm wrong or if i'm stating the obvious lol, i'd rather be sure.

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

Interesting to note that the average download speed of Sky Unlimited has dropped by approx 22% compared with Sky Max, according to the Sky User Speed Tester. Am having a prolonged email discussion about this with support, as my own speed has dropped.

Sky Unlimited has dropped by approx 22% compared with Sky Max, according to the Sky User Speed Tester.
That could be down to far fewer tests, against the new package. We were undecided whether or not to remove Mid / Max and leave the newer ones there, or mix them together, in the end we decided against it, to try and build up a completely fresh set of results.

As at today, there are over 135k tests within all those results, of which there cannot be anywhere near a substantial amount for Everyday / Unlimited.

Sky aren't using Annex M - Annex A can go 1.5Mbps...Annex M gives up some downstream in exchange for higher uploads...

Never said Sky didn't use Annex A.. was thinking maybe there would be a switch to M when DLM runs (I remember reading somewhere they invested in better line stabilization techniques or something along them lines) As you've said before DLM was running early before it should have for new customers, so maybe it is/was not configured correctly? Just a thought.. I doubt i'm correct..

All i'm saying is I haven't seen anyone go beyond 1024 kilobits so doesn't look like we've got much to hope for right now.. Also wondering why Sky say it's 1.3mb upload when it looks like even if you had an attenuation of lower than 10 you couldn't get it..

      Does not look possible..

Sky TV just ain't worth the money, as others have said it's all repeats and +1 channels, I've only had it 10 weeks and already they changed the goal posts with the mid broadband and tried to con me into paying for Skyworld TV by offering it to me free for a month and putting it on my bill, biggest mistake I ever made joining this bunch of cowboys, the feckers should have spurs as a logo.

I hear you, and I've seen one line get 1.1Mbps but this was with an attenuation of 7 downstream (literally next door to the exchange) but it's like anything...it's UP TO 1.3Mbps upstream...Annex M would guarantee this but Sky don't use it on any profile...
