There should be a box to the right where it talks about line testing work. It can happen any time between now and September.

      Yes
To the right is a box with "connection details"-that 1? That also says "service unavailable. Further to the right is Sky player?

Ok, good to know, I thought for a mo that if I did stay & jump to the max after Xmas that would be a 10 jump.

So is there any affect from this on Sky connect?

Because for the last few feeks i have been getting a low DL speed on primetimes. Which was likely because i went over my download limit last month. But this is a new month now and yet my connection is still getting throttled. Could this be related.

Sky Connect is suffering capacity problems which will show up more at peak times. You may find it is ok one day and dire the next.

The only soloution is to move ISP, if you can to a LLU provider like O2 or Be.

My exchange has no LLU providers.

      Ok then try:-

Plusnet, Zen, IdNet or ADSL24, all use the BT network but manage the connections much, much better.

Plusnet even have a specific gamers package that is very good.

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

      Just a quick update:

sky customer help got back via email and said that I cant cancel all services as I am in a contract ( I know this thats why I asked to be called ). However about 20 minutes later I got a phone call in response to a email I sent that was not through the sky help centre, and after talking to a very helpfull person who got in contact with the BB dept they offered to upgrade my mid to unlimited and credit my account for the difference.

I took them up on this offer largly due to the manner in which they had handled the situation after sky's initial mess up.

It just goes to show there are some nice people that do want to help customers

      Thanks again

      A happy customer once again.

Because it is more expensive and I was not happy with the cut back on mid so they upgraded me to unlimited and gave me credit on my account for the difference in cost 60 to cover the increase charge for a year.

By receiving 12 months worth of credit have you committed to 12 months worth of contract?
