Hi guys, can anyone confirm if there have been any changes to the T&Cs of the Sky Connect package at all?

      Cheers

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

It's only by chance I've come across this post

According to Sky.com, my mid is now "Everyday". So, has my usage limit been cut from 40 to 10GB? I've heard *nothing* formally from sky about this? Is this actually legal. And what if I disagree with the updated conditions, as they were not what I signed up to?

Do they not legally, however have to INFORM me before they change the contract that *we* have together? And in advance??

If my connection has changed, they aren't cutting their end of the deal as my upload hasn't increased either :-P This is such a mess.. TalkTalk are going live on my exchange in July, I'm considering changing if they're going to pull a fast one on me!

I exceed 10Gb easily every month, but wouldn't go over 40. Next they'll add 1/mb charges and happily not inform me on this one either!! I'm in a right mind to complain to Ofcom

lordmuggins The new package Mid has changed its name to Everyday I think I have read some where about Sky sending out letters and giving a date of completion also the next Sky Magazine will have all the information in it sorry not being able help but (I think Sky want all Sky Mid (Everyday) to sign up to Sky Max or Unlimited) here`s the info

Sky Talk pricing and call rates may vary, current rates can be found at sky.com/skytalk. Broadband Connect product at 17 pm is available to customers outside our network area. Monthly usage limits: Base 2GB; Sky Broadband Everyday 10GB; Sky Broadband Unlimited Unlimited; Connect 40GB & subject to Traffic Management Policy. Maximum upload speed: Base up to 400Kb; Sky Broadband Everyday up to 600Kb; Sky Broadband Unlimited up to 1.3Mb; Connect up to 448Kb. Home installation 50. Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

I signed up to Mid, at 40GB cap though. Surely I should have a chance to agree to such a massive, 75% change in part of my contract? Or disagree, and leave.

you can leave without penalty,i got my mac code over the phone yesterday and gave it to o2,my activation date is 30th.
i play online games and just 120 hrs a month takes upto 8 g so by the time ive got dlc and game updates and demos,10gb is not enough.if it wasnt for this site i wouldnt of known anything about the changes until they were actually happening and would of kept paying which in skys words, means you are agreeing to the new contract.
