Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

My own POV - Sky want everyone on Max - 15 / 10 per month income.

Will they move everyone on Mid to the new limits? I doubt it. They would have to give you a get out of jail card, for 30 days. Which would be suicide.

I know that the above is true, although it is unofficial, as more and more people are telling me about it.

I think that it will the reduced caps for new customers, making Max a lot more attractive. But who knows?

I know I'm being thick, but Connect is going up to 20Mb? Surely it can only do this on exchanges where BT has enabled the 21CN stuff??

If it's adsl2+ on all non-llu exchanges (regardless of 21CN), then this sounds like Sky is about to go on a full scale assult of getting everyone to switch to sky.

"Connect package is basically going ADSL2+, and I believe that it will soon offer upto 20Mb, like the Max package. Not sure about usage limits though."

How will they do that on the BT network?

I wonder if it is only for people in with the new upgraded BT equipment 21C?

For Connect to go to upto 20meg - it would have to be on the 21CN - there's no other way I don't think.

Having read the first post again it says everyday is 10g cap so in fact it would mean that you you can download more per month than the present 40g a month cap.Does anybody else read it that way
