Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

I just had a quick look at Sky.com - Sky Products>Broadband>Prices and Options>Sky Broadband Everyday which describes the "Everyday" package.

      it says:

      Sky Broadband Everyday:

Up to 10Mb download speed (depending on location)

Up to 600Kb upload speed and 40GB monthly usage allowance

One-off 30 set-up fee (waived for new customers joining Sky TV and taking Sky Broadband at the same time)

Note that line - Up to 600Kb upload speed and 40GB monthly usage allowance.

      regards,
      /alan

Now that is interesting, if you look at the date on that page,

Information correct at 22 June 2009.
I wonder if they have back tracked?

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

I wonder if sky have the same policy as Government departments, in that they deliberately leak information on proposed changes to see how the public react to it, before making changes modified according to those reactions?

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

I doubt it. Sky would take a serious view on those that leak information, and would probably get rid of anyone caught doing so.

It looks like an error or a backtrack in the page linked to, with the 40gb cap still showing.

No, I mean that perhaps SKY, themselves officially release info to guage the reaction.
