Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

Why say its true just because DS posted the info, dont you believe any of the info posted here?

Plus, the info was posted here first so all credit goes to Skyuser.co.uk and DS comes a poor 2nd .

      Regards

"The usage cap will be reduced from 40GB to 10GB, a change that Sky said was "in line with what the vast majority of our customers actually use"."

If that's right, they can still offer 40GB, and if most users still use under 10GB, it doesn't matter what the cap is, they're not gonna download 40GB instead just to spite Sky are they?

Do you have an Orange pay-monthly mobile plan? If not, it's 13.97/mo in which case, you're better off upgrading to MAX for 10/mo

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

I'm a bit worried about my usage now.

I'm on the mid package and all I really use it for is browsing the net and Xbox live. I don't download many videos or demos but just use the online gaming.

It comes back to the age old question of how much usage does xbox live use? Will 10 gig be enough for this?

Also, is there a way I can track all the download limits from all the machines in my house so that I can realistically see how much is being used each month? Don't want to have to face the wrath of Sky if I do go over 10 gig!

10gb will be more than plenty for some online gaming/general browsing etc.
