The only 2 we are now waiting for are:

      • Isitme
      • Scooby_Doo

Who I presume are either on holiday or busy at work.

FYI - I called sky about these yesterday, they are sending me one free now - should be here in 28 days^^

If you log into 'mysky' you can see them under the 'offers' page and can simply call 08442 411389 to get one sent out.

**NOTE - to get one free you have to have sky BB, sky talk & sky tv.**

Ok tried this as I'd really like ine and was told that everyone would be getting one eventually and it is being done in batches which I don't quite believe.

I could not hear a menu for the offers, which department did you go through to get it?

      Re: Operation Save Energy

I was a little disappointed to have missed the competition & was reading about the winners with envy.

Doorbell rings & there is DHL with a parcel - A gift from Sky of a "Wattson Energy Metre Give away" (Their spelling not mine)

I do recall going on the "Green" site some time ago & putting my name forward.
Maybe they are sending them to all subscribers?.
No email or other communication other than the enclosed Despatch Note.

The downside is that our house uses a backgound 160W.
Over 20 small items (PIRs, rechargeable phones, router, standbys etc.)
Now I'm worrying about the wastage

      Regards,

      Max.

      Well that was lucky

Now someone is even selling one on e-bay typical

SKY ELECTRICITY MONITOR on eBay (end time 08-Jul-09 12:54:53 BST)

I will try again later to see if I can get through to someone else that is a bit more helpful (or does what I want them too)

      Re: Operation Save Energy

Tried again and I think I may have got one, a nice Scottish guy has ordered one and it should be here in 3-5 days.

I did got round the houses with the menus, went to 1 (current customer) and then 4, and just asked for the offer as per the website.

Free of charge they said as I have most things except Sky Line Rental with them

      Re: Operation Save Energy

Are they being sent out when you have all names etc or will those of us that have replied had theirs sent yet?

Do these allow you to see how much an appliance is costing?

Are there any PDF files with instructions etc available so we can see whats, what beforehand?

The ability to download to your PC, do you know how this works, is there a special program or does it go to a spreadsheet ?

We have asked Sky how they would like to play it, offering the 10th one to be sent to myself and then I would forward on. Sky would prefer to send them all out once we have provided the 10 names and addresses. Which we respect.

Yes afaik - You should be able to test individually by putting the grip around the appliance's cord so to speak.

Not that I know of. If by any chance we receive ours first, I can see what comes with it for you.

I would assume there would be some kind of software interface. Again I can check asap
