      It's not.

I did a forced update the day before the new EPG arrived on my Thomson box, and it didn't prevent the download or mess it up.

I think when the original roll out started, the download to the boxes was 2 weeks before the activation(due to them keeping on changing the activation date), whereas now the period between download and activation is pretty much a day if not even at the same time.

The above certainly fits in with the postings of others. It would be good if someone techy from Sky could confirm as a lot of people are now nervous to do forced updates in case they miss out.

Info: All Thomson boxed EPG updates have been completed.

Next phase is Pace and Samsung but some new customers will not receive their HD guides before the updates so they will get the new EPG before any written info.

      Just a heads up.

      Re: Sky+ HD Guide

I have a Samsung, but still no new EPG? I was under the impression that everyone should have the new EPG before the end of May?

No info in the post either.

      Any ideas anyone?

Really, I thought Summer didn't start until 21/22 June.
