YES, but when you see a brand new customer getting it installed for NOTHING then can't you see why us existing customers feel a little agrieved ?

I agree that SKY's HD coverage is far better than anything else on the market, but it ***** me off that us loyal customers who have paid thousands over the years are walked over at the expense of new customers

... but remember, you were once a 'new' customer and had a 'new customer deal'.

I never had such a deal. Like a few on here I have been sky in their pre digital days and just signed up, paid for installation and the usual subscription fee.

Re: Current Rumours For Sky - January 2009

I too joined pre digital, but when I signed up to digital I got a subsidised box in return for connecting it to my phone line.

Even as an analogue subscriber back in 1994ish, I got 3 months subs free.

99.9% of people have had an offer or incentive of some kind, it's just at the moment they are very favourable to new customers. I paid 299 for my HD box in June 2008...... now it's 45 + 30 = 75..... c'est la vie.
