not that it makes much of a difference even if they do.
Too true! You have to be spending thousands of s to see any real benefit. Like wow, I can get that 1000 laptop I've always wanted for 978 and take the wife out to a slap-up fish supper on what I save.

re: Price Freezes for some Loyal Customers

just got my letter i am on mid so nothing about loyal price freeze

only the part about take sky talk and not be affected by this price change but the interesting bit is it says we will even guarantee to freeze the price of your broadband untill at least 2010 so it looks like it is going up in 2010 what ever you do it just delays it by taking sky talk

re: Price Freezes for some Loyal Customers

I can't quite read all of the letter, but it seems to me that the 'discount' only applies if you take SkyTalk. I don't see anything about Max or HD etc. Are there different letters? I have not had one yet.

Edit I have copied and pasted the letter and still don't see anything different.

re: Price Freezes for some Loyal Customers

      My letter says.
"Thank you for continuing to choose our award-winning Sky Broadservice. As a Sky Broadband Max customer you'er already enjoying the only truly unlimited broadband service in the U.K.
From 1st March 2009 the price of all Sky Broadband Base Mid and Max products will go up by 5 a month. However, in recognition of being a valuerd Sky coustomer on our top broadband package we'll be freezing the price of your broadband as it stands now untill 1 jan 2010"

There is then a lot of stuff about Sky talk, but that is the gist of it.

re: Price Freezes for some Loyal Customers

I have made the image easier to read, you are quite correct, it does not mention the HD subscription. Can the OP confirm if they have HD or Multiroom sub? Or just Max.
