Are you sure? According to info received, being on Sky Max before the qualifying date will make you eligible for a discount. The discount is not shown in the Broadband section of your account, but the TV part.

If it works, since the January bill (the first where the increase shows) everything on my account is wrong. I've spoken at lenght with customer service staff on this, but it appears that the back office system at Sky has some problems. Just faxed a letter over, as the customer service system was down and they asked me to fax through. Hopefully this will resolve it.

That info is either wrong or still awaits clarification. Having Sky Max before the "qualifying date" does not entitle users to miss out on the price increase. For current users it only applies to those with Sky Talk.

I am pretty sure that NewsreadeR for one, who does not have Sky Talk, has stated that the discount has been applied to his account.

      Ok thanks,
I'm curious to know how many Max users have escaped the increase so I've started a thread in the Sky Feedback section although I'm unsure if that is the correct place for it.

      Subtotal 15.00
      Sky Talk
      Sky Talk Monthly Charges
      Sky Talk Unlimited 5.00
      Call Charges
      Local Calls (627 calls) 0.000
      National Calls (11 calls) 0.000
      International Calls (18 calls) 0.000
      Total Charges: 5.00
      Total Balance: 100
      09/03/2009 Payment Received 100 CR
      Current Balance: 0.00
      Payment Due By: 09/03/2009

Not bad for 100 for the full Sky Package with 594 TV channels including 32 HD channels, 88 Radio Channels, 16MB wireless broadband internet, free calls to 20 countries, plus free calls to UK landlines!! But how long it last before the price goes up again. Ah! Speaking of which, I think there will be another price increase around Sept this year for Sky TV

But still, compared with Virgin Media, there is no way I have all this for 100, it'll be like around 150+ a month for the same full package that I'm having at the moment!!

      ^^^^^^
Your discount is for having Sky Talk, WestTV wants information from those who do not have ST but have Max.

Oops! Sorry about that! Hang on?? Sky is giving out 5 discount to customers who don't have ST package but have Max as well?

If that's the case, they should offer me another 5 discount, making it 10, since I have both ST & Max packages.
