Re: Update on Sky Broadband pricing changes

Makes no difference to me, I'm on Sky Talk and Sky BB Max for 20 a month and that wont change.
I used to pay BT 37 a month for the same!

Am I missing something? If O2 is so good, why does it need a Help forum?

Re: Update on Sky Broadband pricing changes

If the broadband price is going to go up, then I guess I will have to consider BE or O2. Any ideas how they compare to each other in terms of speeds, downloads, throttling and customer care?

Re: Update on Sky Broadband pricing changes

ive been with sky bb since march so i am in contract till end of march 2009

o2 not on my exchange so i may be stuck with sky max at 15 per month instead of 10 dont fancy sky talk but hey i was paying 17.99 to eclipse for 1mb so i am still gaining over my last isp

whats so bad or good about skytalk freetime ? as its free and would stop the 5 increase

Do you mean compared to Sky?
      • Speeds same or higher (in my experience 10% higher)
      • Downloads are subject to "fair usage" but O2 say they have never needed to apply it so far
      • No throttling
      • Customer Care is 24/7, UK based, free 0800 number and in my experience, calls are answered in less than 5 rings
