      But, calling any 118 number isn't free, charges can vary enormously from around 20+p to near a whole Euro, oops, sorry, Pound - the advert sponsored 0800 100 100 number is the free one to use (remember 0800 calls are not free to make from your mobile)

      Being pedantic - sorry - that's generally true but most mobile operators have a list of exceptions (mostly "worthy" numbers such as Childline) plus the operators own 0800 numbers.

      Here's O2's as an example.
