Sky Pricing Roundup - July 2008

Sky+ HD & HD Mix from July 08

From 1st July, Sky HD will be known as Sky+ HD
  • This change reinforces the Sky+ features and benefits which are so important to our customers. It's simple, its Sky+… with HD
  • Existing Sky HD customers will be referred to as Sky+ HD customers from the 1st July 2008

The name of the Sky HD Subscription is also changing… customers now subscribe to Sky’s HD Mix to access HD channels
  • The HD Mix brings our HD service in line with our other viewing packages, simplifying package selection
  • For £10/€15pm customers access the widest choice of HD channels in Europe (up to 18 channels), 12mth contract

Sky+ HD customers subscribing to single Sky Sports channels will have access to the equivalent single Sky Sports HD channel from 1st July

  • Currently customers are required to subscribe to the Sky Sports Mix to access Sky Sports HD channels
  • This change brings the Sky Sports HD channels in line with Sky Movie HD channels

The elements of Sky’s HD service which will remain unchanged

All box functionality (Sky+ functionality, recordable storage space etc.)

New Sky+ HD Box

Re-branded Sky+ HD boxes and packaging (as above) will be filtered into the sales channels over the 3 months from July.
  • During this process some customers may receive the current Sky HD branded box

UK – Box and Install Pricing from 1st July 08
