So SkyPlayer isn't any good then?

After all, it doesn't work on a Mac (unless it's running Windoze)!

I'm currently going in an endless circle of being logged in, going to the player page, it asking me to sign in, telling me it can't handle my request, etc.

      Not impressed so far...

I hope this isnt going to degenerate into a windows v macos argument.

Agreed, each to their own. I was simply pointing out that the SkyPlayer page detected that I'm using a Mac and pointed me at instructions on how to install and run Windows on a Mac. Unlike BBC iPlayer and ITV's doodah, it seems that SkyPlayer won't even do streaming on Mac under OS X.

I have never used this service and looked into it tonight. I particularly like the ability to view the Sports channels online, but wait a minute, despite me being a full Sky Sports subscriber I have to have multiroom if I want to be able to do this or pay the monthly fee which is pretty daft if you ask me although not surprising that they want to charge an extra fee for the service.
