      I decided to give it a try so I downloaded the DG834GT V1.01.32 DGTeam 0743.zip file
      Sorry for possibly creating confusion, my answer was aimed at T1Cybernetic who is running the standard Netgear firmware, not Sky's.

      Thanks for the advice tequilacrush did it via the Recovery Utility upgrade instruction and
      it went perfectly

      Also to Isitme thanks for the advice without your post I wouldn't have known about the upgrade.

      No doubt about it if you want any advice Sky,TV related this is the place to come thanks guys.

      Sorry if this has already been asked, only just seen this thread to upgrade. when i upgrade, will i have to re-enter all the portforwarding details again etc or will it remember them?

      Why do you want to upgrade? If you have a DG834GT router and had it connected you should have been upgraded automatically. What firmware version do you have?

      I didnt realise it would upgrade automatically, Ive never seen it do anything. I havent checked the version since i turned of upnp when i first got bb. I'll check tonight.

      UPnP has nothing to do with it. Just look at the firmware version at the top of the Router Status page, it should be V1.03.87.

      No what i mean is the last time i went into the router set-up was when i changed all the settings when i first got it.

      Ahhh, I understand now. That was recommended with the old firmware, the new one cleared the bug, so there is no need to have it switched off now. I think you will find you are upgraded, it was usually done overnight to reduce the inconvenience.

      phoned home, and i have already got the new firmware duh.lol
      now i can turn upnp back on to try and sort my ps3 out.
