No sky will still be rolling out the update.

The router will still ask if there is any new FW. But beacause it is already up to date it will not be given any more updates.

      OK!

Will sky know that a particular router has been upgraded or not?

Yay some sense from Sky at last, of course they could still magnificently muck it up by giving us a copy of the 1.02.28 FW........

      Dog man.

Will sky know that a particular router has been upgraded or not?
      yes they will
The conversation between the router and the update server is abit like.

ROUTER:Evening guvner i'm on FW 3.0.87 got any newer version of the update?

Server: easy geezer your on the latest one MATE, come back later to see.

      ROUTER: Cheers mate.

The router and the exchange will keep having a conversation like this until there is another updated FW availble.

Re: Stop Press - New FW - Stop Press

      Sorry to go on, but.............

      I mean will SKY know?

It has been suggested here that sky will write to those that do not get upgraded for whatever reason with instructions on how to get the upgrade.

I assume then, that Sky must have some way of knowing if any individual router is upgraded or not.

      YES!

Sky will know if your router has received the upgrade.

But they wont do this i think until a later date.
